Writer. Husband. Follower of Jesus. Built by storms. Redeemed by grace.
My Story
I didn’t grow up planning to meet Jesus.
I grew up chasing ghosts, diving into darkness, trying to outrun grief, shame, anger, addiction, and the quiet violence of a chaotic childhood. I was a storm-child — imaginative, intense, too sensitive for my own skin, carrying wounds I didn’t have words for.
As I got older, life broke me in ways that only Jesus could put back together.
I saw things I shouldn’t have seen. I survived nights I shouldn’t have survived. I committed sins I carried like sacks of stone. I walked through violence, fear, self-deception, and the long shadows of the past.
And then — when I finally cried out — He found me.
My faith didn’t arrive all at once. It came in whispers. In scripture that hit like lightning. In dreams that felt like rescue missions. In the slow thaw of a hardened heart.
And in the middle of that journey, God brought me my wife, Shaylie — the one who stood with me, prayed with me, wrestled with her own storms alongside mine. We got married on August 20, 2022 and baptized together on September 11, 2021, a moment that changed the trajectory of both our lives.
Since then, the Lord has planted us deep in our local church. We serve. We study. We grow. We fall down and get back up together. He’s brought healing, purpose, and a calling I never saw coming.
That calling is what sparked The Walking Paths — my book, my testimony, my ministry-in-the-making.
I write about:
• Light and darkness
• Spiritual warfare
• Dreams and visions
• Grief, trauma, and redemption
• How Jesus saves people like me — people who’ve been to hell and back
• How to wake up in a world full of deception
• How to run to the Light even when you’re crawling
My hope — my prayer — is that this book becomes a lantern in someone else’s night. A guide. A companion. A weapon. A testimony of what God can do with a man who was once lost and now walks the paths of grace.
If you’re here, brother or sister — welcome. You’re not alone. And you don’t have to walk in the dark anymore.
The Walking Paths

MINISTRY MISSION STATEMENT
My ministry exists to guide the wounded, the weary, and the wandering back toward the Light — to help people recognize spiritual warfare, break free from deception, heal from the wounds of the past, and encounter Jesus in a real, transforming way.
This ministry is for prodigals. For skeptics. For the brokenhearted. For anyone living with ghosts in their chest and shadows at their heels.
I walk beside them — not as a man who has it all together, but as a man redeemed by grace — pointing always to the One who pulled me from the dark.
CALLING STATEMENT
I am called to carry a lantern into dark places, to speak truth where deception lives, and to lead others toward the same Light that saved me.
