Job 19:25

I’ve been working on committing myself to memorizing truths in the scriptures that I KNOW I can stand on. These truths are what I am using to build my foundation in God’s promises.

Job is a favorite book of the Bible for me because it is one of the first parts of the Bible I ever read that I read all the way through and read closely Christians I spoke with recommended I start with Job because I was going through a period in my life when I was angry at God. Job, in the Book of Job, is going through something similar when we meet him.

This piece of scripture from Job is not about anger however. These words give me something that I can hold on to when I am in doubt and feeling low or down or worried. They speak of the victory of God in the end and of His gift of redemption to me, to all of us.
