In this scripture, Isaiah 9:6, the Man of God Isaiah writes “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (slightly redacted) Jesus came here to our world as a baby, a child, and as a man, and He brought with Him the Good News about a new kind of kingdom, a Kingdom of God. He shared how to access this Kingdom through obedience to God’s Word, passionate faith and confident belief in God’s Promise, and commitment to God’s Way, through petition and prayer with thanksgiving. He told us to Act Justly, Love Mercy, and to Walk Humbly with Him. He shared with us the Holy Spirit to help guide us and lead us and inspire us. But most of all Jesus brought with Him His Peace and Love and Kindness and He taught us that when we are With Him we find His Peace. This is something to be thankful about and to want to share with others. Seek Him and you will find Him. Seek His Peace and you will find His Peace.
